Shiroi Koibito Park is a theme park of confectionery, introducing Shiroi Koibito first of all, but also other sweets' "deliciousness" and "enjoyment". This is "Chocolate Time Tunnel" corner. It shows process and explanations of chocolate making.
Here are machines which create delicious chocolate.
You can watch the procedure to make white chocolate flat with a giant machine.
From here you can watch actual finishing process to make "Shiroi Koibito" in Production Line.
We could not see baking process, but Langues du chat is baked on 14 meters long oven and for 7 minutes becomes crispy.
Then this machine sandwiches white chocolate with baked langues du chat. Here the process is checked with eyes.
Imperfect shaped or broken cookies are taken out.
Cool down the sandwiched Shiroi Koibito and put them in line to go through a machine.
Then pack and print the cookies. This is the finishing process of Shiroi Koibito.

There are three kinds of bite-sized cookies in the box sold "only in Shiroi Koibito Park", which would be good souvenir.
"i Gateau", sold only in company shop, is a confectionery using white chocolate and Hokkaido's cheese powder.
Here "ISHIYA"'s original goods are sold.
Memorial "Shiroi Koibito key holder"
A lot of unique goods such as Shiroi Koibito T-shirt, made by Ishiya Seika, are sold.
There was even an original magnet shaped as Shiroi Koibito. :)

Factory walk is amusing spot and its admission fee for adult is 600 yen while 200 yen applies to student under 15 years old or younger child.

You will get an entrance passport and Shiroi Koibito cookie as a ticket. Nice to get Shiroi Koibito.
Just after the admission, original tin of Shiroi Koibito information is provided.
Wow, you can print your photo on the tin!
Open the door and you will see a beautiful Aurora Fountain. This fountain was made in approx.1870 by British Royal Doulton. Its figure is absolutely fantastic.
On the ceiling a beautiful picture of "Aurora Goddess rising to the Sun" is exhibited.
"The Chocolate Girl" by Swiss Jean-Etienne Liotard, drawn on ceramic surface is rare, so this is precious masterpiece.
In Chocolate cups collection room, various cups and saucers for hot chocolate are exhibited.
In Stained Glass room, you can take pictures with stained glass shining with Sunlight.
Beautiful stained glass is also on the ceiling.
Tiles spread over the floor are very beautiful, too.
Demitasse cups are exhibited,
and old packages of chocolate are shown.
In Chocolate Time Tunnel, 19th century's British style Chocolate Factory is recreated. Inside the room, you can hear the sound, feel the wind and chocolate aroma.
In cafeteria "Chocolate Lounge" with British antique furniture, you can enjoy chocolate drinks or Shiroi Koibito parfait.
Chocolate drinks are from 540 yen and Shiroi Koibito parfait is 756 yen.
You can listen to wax tube record and SP record with gramophone.
Collection of toys in Meiji, Taisho, Showa eras are exhibited. Many rare toys such as tin plate toys are exhibited. Battleship Kashima is appraised to be 5 million yen's worth.
In Candy Labo, you can watch actual candy making. A variety of candies are sold and many people bought them as souvenirs.
Craftsman extended the candy dough, a very rare moment and I was stunned with his technique.
The extended candy stick is exposed to wind and cooled down to be solid.
Clang-Clang. Candy sticks are cut down.
Tried just finished candy. A bit warm, and strawberry flavour spread in my mouth. It was very delicious.
Various flavours candies such as apple, kiwi, soda, are sold. The price is good, too, 216 yen.
In Shiroi Koibito Park garden, various flowers bloom. Combination of colorful flowers and red bricks buildings are just like a dream country. Free entrance to the garden and the shop.
Pansy flowers covering the ground. You can take picture with your face from the whole in the middle of flowers.
In the garden there are several fountains. Hippopotamus sculpture is sleeping comfortably.
Many tulips were blooming. It was a labyrinth like garden.
Sapporo mechanical clock tower seen from the garden. Every hour on the hour chocolate carnival parade with dances and songs is carried out.
A candy house as if it came from a fairy tale.
Shiroi Koibito railway is made based on the model of SL Bankei train. You can enjoy 10 minutes ride.
Fee is 300 yen for adult, 200 yen for child of 12 years or younger and free for child younger than 2 years.

We could see the procedure of famous "Shiroi Koibito" cookies, which is very rare, and it made us feel more intimacy to Shiroi Koibito. In addition, your own original cookiecraft experience, using familiar langues du chat cookies as a base, must be very interesting! Only one "my Shiroi Koibito" in the world should be a good memory for sure.
Besides to confectionery related experience, there are many ways to enjoy the park such as railway through many exhibitions and facilities, rose garden, soft ice cream house where popular "Shiroi Koibito soft ice cream" is available, and restaurants.

In Chocolate Time Tunnel, 19th century's British style Chocolate Factory is recreated. Inside the room, you can hear the sound, feel the wind and chocolate aroma.

In cafeteria "Chocolate Lounge" with British antique furniture, you can enjoy chocolate drinks or Shiroi Koibito parfait.
Chocolate drinks are from 540 yen and Shiroi Koibito parfait is 756 yen.

Old-style Children's Toy Box
Collection of toys in Meiji, Taisho, Showa eras are exhibited. Many rare toys such as tin plate toys are exhibited. Battleship Kashima is appraised to be 5 million yen's worth.
Candy Labo
In Candy Labo, you can watch actual candy making. A variety of candies are sold and many people bought them as souvenirs.
Craftsman extended the candy dough, a very rare moment and I was stunned with his technique.
The extended candy stick is exposed to wind and cooled down to be solid.
Clang-Clang. Candy sticks are cut down.
Tried just finished candy. A bit warm, and strawberry flavour spread in my mouth. It was very delicious.
Various flavours candies such as apple, kiwi, soda, are sold. The price is good, too, 216 yen.
Garden in Shiroi Koibito Park
In Shiroi Koibito Park garden, various flowers bloom. Combination of colorful flowers and red bricks buildings are just like a dream country. Free entrance to the garden and the shop.
Pansy flowers covering the ground. You can take picture with your face from the whole in the middle of flowers.
In the garden there are several fountains. Hippopotamus sculpture is sleeping comfortably.
Many tulips were blooming. It was a labyrinth like garden.
Sapporo mechanical clock tower
Sapporo mechanical clock tower seen from the garden. Every hour on the hour chocolate carnival parade with dances and songs is carried out.

Shiroi Koibito railway
Shiroi Koibito railway is made based on the model of SL Bankei train. You can enjoy 10 minutes ride.
Fee is 300 yen for adult, 200 yen for child of 12 years or younger and free for child younger than 2 years.

It was literally Confectionery theme park, such as Shiroi Koibito Cookies factory and Shiroi Koibito park where original cookie making is possible. We could see the procedure of famous "Shiroi Koibito" cookies, which is very rare, and it made us feel more intimacy to Shiroi Koibito. In addition, your own original cookiecraft experience, using familiar langues du chat cookies as a base, must be very interesting! Only one "my Shiroi Koibito" in the world should be a good memory for sure.
Besides to confectionery related experience, there are many ways to enjoy the park such as railway through many exhibitions and facilities, rose garden, soft ice cream house where popular "Shiroi Koibito soft ice cream" is available, and restaurants.
I am wondering to be an honorary member, because if I collect 10 stamps on the entrance passport, I will be the honorary member and get free entrance to Factory walk which is usually charged. :)
