"Midosuji" the main street of Osaka is famous for the line of Gingko trees and it turns into the beautiful street in Autumn.
Also, in Midosuji street, popular event which represents Osaka is held in winter.
That is Osaka・Festival of the light "Midosuji Illumination".
"Midosuji Illumination" is held from December to January and Midosuji is decorated with beautiful and gorgeous illumination.
The remarkable point of "Midosuji Illumination" is not halfway illumination.
"Midosuji Illumination" this year from 2016 to 2017, it starts from Umeda in the north to Namba in the south.
It has a total length of about 4 km and Midosuji is filled with magnificent illumination.

In 2015, it used 4 colors illumination in each area on Midosuji Ave, in 2016 it has been upgraded! Midosuji Ave is devided into 8 areas and the story relating to Midosuji and its town is represented by "8 different illumination".

For the Christmas event, "German Christmas Market" in Shin Umeda Cityis very famous,and for the illumination "Midosuji Illuminatnion" is the best one.
