There are many other Starbucks Coffee shops in Kyoto city. But Kyoto Sanjo Ohashi store is designated as a special store called 「Concept Store」.

●What is Concept Store?

Concept Store is the unique system of Starbucks Coffee and in each area, Starbucks Coffee collaborates with its historical culture. For example, Starbucks Coffee use the historical building for its store. You can enjoy special Starbucks store in special space different from normal store, that is the great features of Concept Store. In Kansai area, there are three Concept Stores, "Starbucks Coffee Kyoto Sanjo Ohashi", "Starbucks Coffee Kyoto Karasuma Rokkaku" and"Starbucks Coffee Kobe Kitano Ijinkan". Please check other stores too.

Then, we explain that "Why Starbucks Coffee Kyoto Sanjo Ohashi is Concept Store?". Because, there is a seasonal limited Kamo-gawa Noryo-Yuka seat.

Starbucks's Kamo-river Noryo-Yuka seat in evening.

It is very hot in Kyoto in summer, but in the evening, you can enjoy coffee feeling the agreeable wind from Kamo-river and it has great atmosphere.

Walking along the Kamo-river is always nice. Starbucks Kyoto Sanjo Ohashi is located in just west side of the Sanjo Bridge. We highly recommend to have a coffee there because you can enjoy the townscape of Kyoto and Kamo-river view from the store. There are lots of tourist in Sanjo area and many foreigners and person in Kimono come to the store and spend cafe time.

I personally recommend that visiting in the morning just after open the store to spend the time in fresh morning atmosphere or visiting in the night to relax with a cup of coffee.
