In the central area of Kyoto, walking along the Shijo-dori to the Gion aera,
You can find the main entrance of Yasaka-jinja "Nishiro-mon" (brightly colored buddhist style gate). "Yasaka-jinja" is one of the most popular sightseeing places in Kyoto and many tourists visit this shrine all year round.
